St. Patrick’s Day might be over but the Madness is still here!! Thursday at 7pm every TV in the pub will be watching our Zags in the Sweet 16!!! Then on Saturday we will be celebrating with a pregame gathering starting at 11 am for the NCAA Women’s Notre Dame fans, who’s game time is at 1pm!!! ☘️

Free historic Irish talk tonight 6:30-7:30 Seating limited “THE TROUBLES I’VE SEEN: A FENIAN LAMENT” by Thomas St. Patrick Keefe A brief overview of modern Irish history, weaving together a series of notable uprisings against British rule that occurred over two centuries, creating martyrs, songs, literature, exiles, and forged a bond with the American political landscape that shaped both countries up to the present day. Tom Keefe is the grandson of Elizabeth Murphy of Newton-Hamilton, County Armagh, who left Ireland during the troubles of the early 20th century, received her citizenship in Butte, Montana in 1920, and gave birth to his mother, Anne Murphy, in Spokane that same year. Tom has travelled extensively in Ireland over the past forty years, and was instrumental in establishing a Seattle/ Galway Sister City relationship while serving as legal counsel to Seattle Mayor Charles Royer in the early 1980’s. His two grandchildren, Patrick (5) and Nora Hickey (3) are Irish citizens and “proud little Fenians” according to Tom.

Friend and co-worker Lindsey Johnstone created this 17 foot replica of the Dublin Guinness factory St. James Gate to hang where our beloved Notre Dame flag hung for 25 years. Here is the O'Doherty family, staff, and regulars taking on the Ice Bucket Challenge to support ALS! They ran through the fountain then received six buckets of ice on the other side! They raised $1000 to donate to the cause in honor of spokane native Steve Gleason! It was also owner Tim O'Dohertys birthday so we want to wish him a very happy 30th birthday
